This book, Tamar and Vince Weight Loss are written by Dr. Vince Cissell. He has been a practicing doctor for over 15 years and is a certified weight loss specialist. Dr. Vince Cissell is a nutritional consultant for The Atkins Nutrition Program as well as the South Beach Diet. In this book he talks about the benefits of low carb diets and why he does not recommend them. He also talks about why he feels that the book is great for those who are considering going on the Atkins diet or any other low-carb diet for that matter.

In Tamar and Vince Weight Loss, Dr. Vince Cissell discusses the best exercise for upper belly fat and what foods should and shouldn't be included in your diet. In his words you can eat whatever you want and lose weight. This isn't true. You have to control your eating so that it's done in a healthy manner. If you don't control what you're putting into your body, then you can put yourself at risk for many diseases including cancer. He also talks about how exercise along with a low-calorie high protein diet is the best combination for fast metabolism diet success.

The thing that really caught my attention about this book was the part where Dr. Vince said that some foods are okay to eat, but not okay to eat after an exercise. For instance, he said that you shouldn't eat anything that is deep fried. He also said that fish is okay to eat, but I would stick with tipper or salmon. He also recommended that if you run away from home, you should have two meals and snacks each day. He didn't say you need to starve yourself, just do something different than what you're usually doing when you run away.

As for the meal replacement section of the book, it's packed with tons of recipes for both weight loss, and general health improvement. For instance, there's a pancake recipe, cabbage soup recipe, and fruit salad recipe. There's even one recipe for running while on a hongying diet! In addition, the book includes some interesting articles like, "The Hongying Diet - What's That?" and "How You Lose Weight Without Running", which was especially helpful to me.

Tamar Michaels' diet pills are also worth checking out. Her product is called Tamarcent. The reason why I like her product so much is because she is both an expert on nutrition and an exercise specialist. Tamar Michaels has a blog as well as an active website where she discusses diet and fitness with a lot of enthusiasm. I particularly like her ideas on call rotation diets.

I'm not a big fan of low carb diets. I think that too many carbohydrates are bad for you. However, if you're a ketogenic dieter, then maybe this book will help. This book talks about the effect of the ketogenic diet in a very simple way. It says, if you eat less carbohydrates overall, you'll lose more fat than if you eat the same number of carbohydrates but eat a higher amount of protein. This seems very simple but it's true!

Some of the foods that are recommended by Vince Mccourt are: eggs (yolks, whites), chicken (grilled or fried), beef, pork, vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, asparagus, etc. ), and fruits (just the fruits!). All these foods should be eaten in moderation. I think that there's room for deviation here, especially with the chicken, beef, and vegetables. I would imagine though that many carbs per day are eaten!
